The Saint Vincent Bearcats extended their winning streak eight in a row on Wednesday with a 62-52 triumph over Grove City at the Carey Center. The Bearcats started the game with a 12-0 lead and built a 31-15 advantage in the second quarter before staving off a furious Grove City rally in the second half. SVC was paced by a career-high 22 points from Madison Weber. The senior forward was an efficient 9-for-11 from the field and added eight rebounds. Weber’s dazzling performance was critical to Saint Vincent’s fast start and strong finish. For her efforts, Weber was named the Foster Law Offices Player of the Game.
