The Chatham Cougars won for the fourth time in the last five games with a 65-39 win over Franciscan University of Steubenville on Saturday. Leading 11-7 late in the first quarter, Chatham used an 18-0 run to take command of the game with a 29-7 lead. Spearheading the tide-turning run was sophomore guard Ashlie Louden, who finished with a game-high 17 points. The Cougars entered the day ranked fifth in the country in 3-pointers made and added 10 more to their tally against the Barons. Louden poured in 3-of-6 from beyond the arc and shot 6-of-12 from the field. The transfer from Bluefield State added five rebounds and four assists to claim Foster Law Offices Player of the Game honors.
