The reigning PAC champion W&J Presidents returned to the win column on Saturday afternoon with an 88-71 triumph over Waynesburg. The Presidents bounced back from a loss on Thursday night to Geneva by jumping out a to a strong start against the Yellow Jackets. W&J opened the game with an 11-3 advantage and maintained a lead for the rest of the contest. The Presidents held a significant advantage in bench points (40-24) and that effort was spearheaded by freshman guard Matt Seidl. The North Hills’ product tied for the team lead with 16 points and added four rebounds. Additionally, Seidl totaled three assists and a pair of steals to earn Foster Law Offices Player of the Game honors.
