The Saint Vincent Bearcats won their fifth consecutive game on Thursday night with a 47-42 triumph at Bethany. The Bearcats trailed 17-9 after one quarter of play but bounced back to come away with the road victory. In a close battle with the Bison throughout, the consistent presence in the paint of senior center Ella Marconi helped SVC prevail. Marconi finished with a team-high 10 points and eight rebounds to help pave the way for Saint Vincent. For her efforts, Marconi was awarded the Foster Law Offices Player of the Game.
