The Saint Vincent Bearcats won their second PAC crown in three seasons with a 65-61 victory over W&J on Saturday night in Latrobe. In an exciting, back-and-forth contest, the visiting Presidents led 59-55 with 2:10 remaining before SVC ended the game on a 10-2 run to earn the win. A prominent figure in the victory was sophomore Ella Marconi. The 6-2 center netted a game-high 17 points and pulled down eight boards to spark the Bearcats. Marconi also made 7-of-9 shots from the free-throw line, which proved important in a narrow victory. For her efforts, Marconi was selected as the AHN Player of the Game by the PAC Sports Network.
