Men’s Basketball – Grove City
#14 Justice Rice
6-1 Senior Guard
Stat Line: 25 points, 7 assists, 5 rebounds
The reigning PAC champions continued their bid for back-to-back conference crowns with a 91-85 victory at No. 2 seed Geneva on Thursday. Fourth-seeded Grove City had five players reach double figures as the Wolverines outshot the highest scoring team in the PAC. Leading the charge for Grove City was senior guard Justice Rice, who poured in a career-high 25 points, which leaves him just five-points shy of 1,000 points heading into the championship game. GCC’s Swiss army knife contributed in every facet of the game, adding seven assists, five rebounds with a steal and block. For third time this season, and second time this week, Rice was tabbed the AHN Player of the Game by the PAC Sports Network.
