Men’s Basketball – W&J
#10 Nicholas Campalong
6-6 Senior Forward
Stat Line: 14 points, 6 rebounds, 2 blocks
With their largest offensive showing in over six years, the W&J Presidents rolled over the Franciscan Barons on Saturday afternoon, 97-70. It was the most points scored by W&J since putting up 99 points in against Penn State Dubois on Dec. 22, 2014. It was a steady performance with five different players reaching double figures for the Presidents. Leading the way was senior forward Nicholas Campalong with a team-best 14 points, adding six rebounds and two blocks. Early last season, Campalong sustained a season-ending knee injury. Now fully recovered, Campalong showed everyone in the PAC that he is back with an outstanding performance on Saturday, earning AHN Player of the Game honors from the PAC Sports Network.
