Geneva snapped 18-game losing streak in the head-to-head series with Waynesburg on Monday night with a 72-65 victory over the Yellow Jackets. It was the first win for the Golden Tornadoes over the Jackets since Feb. 19, 2011 and their first win in Greene County since 2008. Leading the way for the GT’s was senior forward Lauren Tipton, who finished with 16 points and 18 rebounds. Of her 18 boards, 10 came on the offensive glass. For her efforts, Tipton was selected as the AHN Player of the Game by PAC Sports Network.
