The reigning PAC champion Grove City Wolverines opened the 2021 season with a 67-51 triumph over Waynesburg on Wednesday night. It was also senior night at the Grove City College Arena and senior guard Jess Bowen not only scored a team-high 14 points but also netted her 1,000th career point. Bowen is the 15th player all-time to reach 1,000 points in the 45-year history of the program. For a memorable senior night, Bowen was selected as the AHN Player of the Game by the PAC Sports Network.
