On an historic night at the Metheny Field House, junior Lauren Tipton set the Geneva single-game record for points and rebounds during an 86-53 win over Thiel. Tipton racked up an astonishing 40 points and 27 rebounds to lead the Golden Torndoes past the Tomcats for their first PAC win of the season. Tipton surpassed the previous scoring mark of 39 points, set last season by Callie Ford in the 2018-2019 season opener at Penn State-Altoona. With a record-breaking performance, Tipton was an easy choice for the Foster Law Offices Player of the Game Award.
