Thiel opened 2020 with a convincing 65-40 win over the Bethany Bison. Leading by just three at halftime, the Tomcats blew the game open in the second half, leading by as much as 26 down the stretch. The Tomcats defense was also impressive and limited the Bison to 21-percent shooting on the day. Two players posted double-doubles for Thiel, including sophomore forward Ahmad Tejumola who recorded 12 points and a game-high 16 rebounds. Tejumola was selected as the Foster Law Offices Player of the Game by the PAC Sports Network.
