Saint Vincent trailed by as much as 15 points in the first half to eighth-seeded Westminster, but thanks in part to junior guard J.C. Howard the top-seeded Bearcats survived for an 87-79 victory in the PAC quarterfinals. Howard netted a game-high 24 points and was a perfect 10 for 10 from the free throw line, playing a key role in the Bearcats strong finish. For his efforts, Howard was named the Foster Law Offices Player of the Game. The PAC Sports Network’s Nate Regotti chatted with Howard following the game.
