Just one rebound shy of a double-double, Thiel senior Eric Mallinger paced the Tomcats in a 66-48 triumph at Westminster on Saturday. After spending a couple of weeks in January on the shelf with a shoulder injury, Mallinger reminded PAC foes that he’s healthy and ready for the stretch drive, totaling 12 points, nine rebounds and five blocks against the Titans. Thiel held a six-point lead at the half and expanded the advantage in the second half to claim an important conference win. The Tomcats sit a game back of fourth-place Bethany heading into the final week of the regular season.
