Men’s Basketball – Thiel
#23 Clandell Cetoute
6-8 Freshman Forward
Stat Line: 15 points, 6 rebounds
Following a shoulder injury to Thiel’s leading rebounder, senior Eric Mallinger, at Grove City, Tomcats head coach Tim Loomis said his freshmen forwards would need to step up. Freshman forward Clandell Cetoute answered the call against Geneva, producing 15 points and six rebounds in a 69-58 home victory. Cetoute was a perfect 7 for 7 from the field, collected two blocks on defense, and added one emphatic slam dunk. The PAC Sports Network selected Cetoute as the Player of the Game. Carson Fox caught up with Cetoute following the game.
