The Yellow Jackets turned a one-point game at halftime into a rout in the second half, 70-50 over Grove City, thanks to their best shooting half of the season and the play of senior wing Thomas Ellis. Waynesburg shot 68 percent in the second half (17 of 25) and Ellis chipped in with 14 points and a team-high five rebounds. Accustomed to his sixth man role, Ellis logged 18 minutes off the bench and was one of four Jackets to touch double digits.
