The Saint Vincent Bearcats won their third PAC title in five years with a 68-52 victory over Chatham on Saturday at the Carey Center. As they did in the semifinal round, the Bearcats rallied from a halftime deficit with a big second half, outscoring the Cougars 45-22 over the final 20 minutes. Junior guard Emily Cavacini helped lead the way with a game-high 22-point performance. The Shaler product went a perfect 8-for-8 at the free throw line and scored 14 of her points in the second half. With the win, Saint Vincent improves to an impressive 22-4 on the season and will advance to the NCAA Tournament for the fourth time since joining the NCAA in 2006-07. Cavacini, who was named the PAC Tournament MVP for her heroics throughout the week, was also tabbed the Foster Law Offices Player of the Game for the second time this season.
