The Bethany Bison rallied from a 12-point halftime deficit to claim a 61-58 victory at Waynesburg on Saturday afternoon. The Bison developed a hot hand from beyond the arc in the second half to rally back, led by Troy Hixson. The freshman guard netted a game-high 19 points and converted on 5-of-8 attempts from the perimeter. The most notable of his 3-point connections was his game-winning bucket in the waning seconds of regulation to lift Bethany to a thrilling victory on the road. For his heroics, Hixson was named the Foster Law Offices Player of the Year.
