Geneva won its fourth consecutive game on Monday night with an 88-72 road triumph at Grove City. It was Geneva’s first win at Grove City since 2015, while also improving the Golden Tornadoes’ conference record to 7-2. The Tornadoes stormed out to a 26-9 lead in first 7:24 of the game thanks to a torrid shooting pace from the perimeter. Whether it was from beyond the arc or driving to the rim, junior Lyle Tipton dominated the night and scored a game-high 37 points, falling just two points shy of his own personal best. Tipton added nine boards, two assists and one block as an easy choice for Foster Law Offices Player of the Game honors.
