The Franciscan Barons visited rival Bethany on Saturday and came away with a convincing 94-70 victory. The high-powered Barons were firing on all cylinders from wire to wire and shot nearly 49-percent from the field and 47-percent (14-for-30) from beyond the arc. Firing the opening salvo for Franciscan was sophomore guard Tristan McDannell, who scored a game-high 20 points, with 14 coming in the first half. Adding five rebounds, two assists and two steals, McDannell was recognized as the Foster Law Offices Player of the Game by the PAC Sports Network.
