The reigning PAC champion Saint Vincent Bearcats bounced back from a slow start to the season with an 80-71 win over the Geneva Golden Tornadoes on Thursday night. Leading the way for the Bearcats was junior center Ella Marconi, who netted a career-high 23 points and added 12 rebounds for her fourth double-double of the season. In a game that featured five ties and six lead changes, it was Marconi’s presence in the paint and on the boards that helped Saint Vincent prevail. The Bearcats held a 74-37 advantage on the glass. For her outstanding performance, Marconi was selected as the Foster Law Offices Player of the Game.
