Red-hot shooting from beyond the arc led to a dominant 85-69 win at Saint Vincent on Thursday night. Collectively, the Golden Tornadoes connected on 17-of-33 attempts from 3-point land. Senior guard Matt Veynovich was the sparkplug for the GT’s with seven 3-pointers, which included a three-minute stretch in the first half in which he buried five consecutive treys. The leader sharpshooter in the PAC from a season ago was once again on point at the Carey Center and was tabbed the Foster Law Offices Player of the Game by the PAC Sports Network.
