The Geneva Golden Tornadoes earned an exciting 79-78 victory over the Waynesburg Yellow Jackets on Saturday. Improving to 4-1 in conference play, its the best start for the Golden Tornadoes since joining the Presidents’ Athletic Conference 10 years ago. In a game that featured several lengthy runs for both teams, Geneva pulled out the victory thanks to a double-double from Mia San Nicholas. The junior forward posted a career-high 19 points and added 14 rebounds. For efforts, San Nicholas was named the Foster Law Offices Player of the Game by the PAC Sports Network.
