W&J continued its early season surge on Tuesday night with an 82-66 win over Thiel. With Thiel leading 38-37 early in the second half, W&J used a 15-4 run to take a double digit lead and pulled away down the stretch. A consistent source of offense throughout the night was sophomore guard Nick Gearhart, who matched teammate J.R. Mazza with a game-high 21 points on 10-of-19 shooting from the field. With some highlight reel athleticism displayed during his 21-point, 10-rebound performance, Gearhart was tabbed the Foster Law Offices Player of the Game for the second time already this season.
