Off to their best start in nearly two decades, the Bethany Bison earned an impressive 73-70 home win over Grove City on Saturday. The Bison stormed back from a 15-point second half deficit to improve to 5-1 overall and 2-0 in PAC play. Down 43-28 with 5:03 to play in the third quarter, the Bison used clutch free-throw shooting and timely baskets from sophomore Makenzee Mason to rally from behind. The PAC Newcomer of the Year from a season ago, Mason scored 15 of her 23 points in the fourth quarter to help spark the late-game stampede. For her efforts, Mason was selected as the Foster Law Offices Player of the Game by the PAC Sports Network.
