Facing the reigning PAC champions on the road on Wednesday night, the W&J Presidents picked up an important early-season victory, 81-79, over the Westminster Titans. In a back-and-forth contest, the Presidents prevailed thanks in part to a big second half performance from Nick Gearhart. The sophomore guard netted 19 points, with 14 points coming in the final 20 minutes of the game. Gearhart shot 7-of-13 from the field and was an efficient 4-for-6 from beyond the arc. Providing crucial points in the second half, Gearhart was tabbed the Foster Law Offices Player of the Game by the PAC Sports Network.
