The W&J Presidents earned their fourth straight trip to the PAC championship game with a convincing 62-40 victory over Grove City on Wednesday night. The Presidents dethroned the defending PAC champions with a feisty defense that limited the highest scoring team in the conference to just 25-percent (16-63) shooting from the field. Delivering a spark for W&J in all phases of the game was senior guard Lauren Gilbert. Draining a pair of timely 3-pointers, Gilbert finished with 17 points and went 7-for-8 at the free-throw line to help put the game away. Adding to her dazzling display, Gilbert contributed five assists, four rebounds, three steals and two blocks. For her efforts, Gilbert was selected as the AHN Player of the Game.
