It was an historic night for Franciscan University on Saturday night as the host Barons won their first ever PAC Tournament game with an exciting 104-98 triumph over Bethany College in the Play-In Round. The 104 points set the Franciscan single-game record for points. FUS was sparked by senior guard Sean Hickey, who poured in a career-high 36 points, the second-most points scored by a Baron in a game all-time. Additionally, Hickey shot a perfect 13-for-13 from the free-throw line, the most ever made by a Franciscan player without a miss. With a dazzling performance, Hickey was named the AHN Player of the Game by the PAC Sports Network.
