The Franciscan University women’s basketball team won its first ever game in the Presidents’ Athletic Conference on Monday night with a thrilling 49-45 triumph at Chatham University. With Barons up by three points with just 30 seconds remaining, Conner pulled down a pair of defensive rebounds and converted on 3-of-4 shots from the free-throw line to extend the FUS lead to 48-41. The clutch play of Conner helped the Barons secure their first PAC win. For the game, Conner totaled eight points, 12 rebounds, two steals and pair of assists. With a crucial performance for Franciscan in the final minute, Conner was tabbed the AHN Player of the Game by the PAC Sports Network.
