Just hours after his sister, Lauren Tipton, posted a double-double in a win for the Geneva women’s team, sophomore Lyle Tipton did the same for the Geneva men’s squad in a 78-72 win triumph over Waynesburg. Lyle Tipton netted 20 points, converting on 3-of-4 shots from beyond the arc, and collected 10 rebounds. Waynesburg built a nine-point lead in the first half, but that advantage was erased in large part by Lyle Tipton’s play in the second half. For his efforts, Lyle Tipton was selected as the AHN Player of the Game by the PAC Sports Network.
