For the second consecutive game, Geneva claimed victory in the waning seconds as the Golden Tornado edged host Waynesburg, 65-63. Senior forward Nick Rusyn provided the game-winning basket, tipping in a missed shot with two seconds remaining to propel Geneva to a fifth straight win. Rusyn finished with 10 points and seven rebounds and played a key role in defending Waynesburg 6-10 forward Isaiah Alonzo. Alonzo was limited to 3 of 15 shooting from the field thanks to Rusyn and the Geneva defense. For his efforts, Rusyn was named the Foster Law Offices Player of the Game for the second time this season.
