Senior Abby Owings became the new all-time scoring leader at Thomas More and the top-seeded Saints rolled to a 90-45 win over No. 4 Grove City in the PAC semifinals at the Connor Convocation Center. Owings netted a game-high 15 points, and her final bucket was a record setter. At the 3:39 mark of the third quarter, Owings made a three-pointer to increase her career scoring total to 1,707 and become the all-time leading scorer in Thomas More women’s basketball history. She broke the previous mark of 1,706, which was set by Amy Burke (1995-1999). For her historic performance, Owings was named the Foster Law Offices Player of the Game.
