Top-seed Saint Vincent overcame a feisty Westminster Titans team, 70-65, in the PAC semifinals on Thursday night. The Titans, coming off an upset of second-seeded Grove City two nights prior and led the Bearcats 58-54 with seven minutes to play. However, senior guard Pat Jones was determined to play in his fourth straight PAC championship and scored a team-high 23 points, including the go-ahead 3-pointer with 1:57 to play. The SVC win sets up a title tilt with the Thomas More Saints on Saturday night, a game that will be broadcast live on the PAC Sports Network. Our John Lydic talked with Jones, the Foster Law Offices Player of the Game, after the contest.
