In an historic win for the Chatham University men’s basketball program, freshman Nasir Alexander netted a team-high 20 points in a 75-71 win over the Geneva Golden Tornadoes. The victory was the first ever at home for the Cougars and Alexander poured in 4 of 6 from beyond the arc to help Chatham build a 20-point lead in the second half. Geneva staged a furious rally in the second half, but Alexander’s 6 of 8 shooting from the free-throw line allowed the Cougars to hold off the Golden Tornadoes. For his efforts, Alexander was selected as the Foster Law Offices Player of the Game.
