Following a 3-pointer by Westminster’s Brandon Domenick with seven seconds remaining in overtime, it appeared the game was destined for a second overtime period in a 69-69 tie. However, Grove City’s 3-point specialist put a sudden end to the contest with a game-winning trey at the buzzer to lift the Wolverines to a 72-69 victory. In addition to his late game heroics, Giesler was pivotal during a 14-0 run in the second half that erased a seven-point deficit and gave Grove City a 48-41 lead. While the Titans fought back to force overtime, Giesler’s clutch three to win the game earned him our Foster Law Offices Player of the Game Award.
